There's no shortage of things to do in Montreal. You'll discover that Montreal is a city of culture: not only are English and French embedded everywhere, there are large Portuguese, Italian, Jewish, Lebanese (and many, many more) communities, ensuring that there is always a different reason to celebrate for someone! The most renowned summer events in Montreal are the F1 Race Weekend, Jazz Festival, and Osheaga Music Festival. Of course, though, there is something to do every weekend - and who would have known that Sunday is the most exciting day of all (pictures below!), provided by the infamous TamTams celebration of life Jeanne Mance park? Place des Arts is a great place to find a multitude of interesting showcases, and they even showcase artists outside, right on rue St. Catherine, making for a gorgeous place to stumble upon on a leisurely walk (and it's right across from Dairy Queen!). Metropolis and Club Soda always have a variety of artists coming through; Metropolis is renowned for it's uniqueness as a venue which combines the intimacy of a small theatre but the largeness that invites the riveting energy of concerts we all love. Oh, and I almost forgot about the Comedy Festival at Just-Pour-Rire! This year, they are showcasing my favorite comedian Rob Delaney - a show you don't want to miss.
